Engineer-Technical Writer with Security Clearance:
NDI Engineering Company is seeking an Engineer or Technical Writer with proven experience in development of US Navy Standard Technical Manuals and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents. SENIOR LOGISTICIAN:
NDI Engineering Company is seeking highly motivated individuals with 7-10 years of relevant experience in integrated logistics support of Navy equipment/systems. The ideal candidate will have experience across integrated logistics support elements for new acquisition and/or in-service programs and systems on US Naval ships and equipment, including knowledge or experience with DoD acquisition planning and program life cycle phases, supply procedures, and the development, review, and update of logistics technical documentation. SENIOR SOFTWARE/CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEER:
NDI is seeking a senior level engineer with a minimum of seven years of professional experience in the software development of engineering or industrial machinery control systems using C++, Java, and/or MATLAB, and experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop, compile, and debug source code in C++/CLI, Managed C++, or C# using .NET framework and/or Linux OS. Candidates should have broad skills including the design and analysis of new software architectures for multi-tiered, distributed control systems, software modeling, design and development of front-end HMI/GUI, working knowledge of network and communications protocols, embedded system software development, development of support databases using MS Access and SQL, and experience with plant simulators for testing. Successful candidates should have at least 2 years of experience as a technical and/or programming lead for a major system project including evaluation of hardware and software design options, trade-off studies and analyses, and overall management of the software product life cycle, from requirements to design, test, installation, and system maintenance using CMMI-DEV processes and IEEE Software standards. SENIOR CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER:
NDI is seeking qualified Sr. Cyber Security personnel with a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in cyber security for DOD engineering systems. The position requires hands-on experience in maintaining and configuring various OS such as Windows, Linux, and embedded OS (RTOS, VxWorks, RH Linux), supporting and configuring IT infrastructure and networks, and planning and implementing vulnerability analyses and security controls for equipment, software, and networks. EMC ENGINEER:
NDI Engineering is seeking a senior level electrical/electronics engineer with at least 10 years of experience in the performance of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) - Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) assessments, test setup and execution, and problem diagnoses/resolution for Navy mechanical, electrical and control systems in accordance with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-462. The candidate will participate as a design consultant to minimize emission and susceptibility issues and provide analysis of test requirements, preparation of control and test plans, test setup, supervision of testing, and preparation of test reports at the land-based test site. Analysis and debug may be required if equipment exhibits issues during testing. TRAINING SPECIALIST:
NDI Engineering Company is seeking hardworking, qualified candidates to conduct classroom training to watch standers, including Operators and Test Engineers of various technical disciplines. Must be experienced in issuance of electronic learning, distance learning, satellite training, computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, videos and workshops. Preference given to those knowledgeable in Navy Training Systems Plans (NTSP), Authoring Instructional Media (AIM II) Content Planning Module (CPM) and Shared Courseware Object Reference Model (SCORM). Will conduct and support training events, ensure training material is accurate and up to date and provide advisory role in the development of new training programs and materials when needed. SYSTEMS ENGINEER:
NDI Engineering Company requires Systems Engineers to provide support for Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems on board US Navy amphibious/auxiliary class ships, including auxiliary air/fluid systems, propulsion, electrical power generation and distribution systems, machinery control and automation, and mechanical deck systems. Scope of work includes requirements derivation and management and risk management across design integration, new technology assessments, test, inspection, installation, and post-delivery support of new acquisition development programs. Candidates will assist in coordination of technical work, and providing technical guidance in accordance with DoD Systems Engineering policies. Support includes tracking and management of contract deliverables for the programs in accordance with schedules, reviewing materials and determining if they meet the requirements specified in the acquisition documents, and coordination of the Technical Team inputs for incorporation to documents. Candidates will assist in reviewing data and analysis to determine if requirements have been verified and assist with ship integration coordination/implementations, including coordination of deviations and waivers when the government team determines it is warranted. Will provide support of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) and production of related material, participation in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and reimbursable travel to meetings (approximately 15%). Several positions are available with a range of experience requirements. CAD OPERATOR /Drawing Checker:
NDI Engineering Company has an immediate need for Full Time CAD Operator/Drawing Checker to develop drawings using AutoCAD and to check drawings for accuracy and quality. The work includes developing and checking multi-sheet drawings using sketches, notes, and drawing iteration markups received from department engineers and engineering technicians. Drawings developed will be complete using customer standard templates and formatting. BOILER PLANT CONTROLS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN:

PLC Programmer:
NDI Engineering Company has an immediate need for a Computer/Software Engineer with experience in controls system design, development, programming, and instrument/control integration using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in Navy shipboard process control systems. The candidate will need 3 years hand-on experience in PLC control system design, development, and test, including hardware, software, and HMI integration with operator workstations, with a background in automated control systems design/development and network communications to integrate discrete/analog devices into equipment per project specifications. Must have strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently to solve problems. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming is highly desirable.
